About

Xuan Zheng is a visual artist and graphic designer from China, who specialise in the practice of the application of visual design to future narratives.

Xuan is adept at storytelling based on real events, whose studies in Information Experience Design primarily explored environmental issues from the perspective of non-human species. Her works are multidisciplinary in nature, experimenting with various audio-visual languages, with creative practices in motion graphic design, branding, installation art, film, photography, and sculpture.

Her graduation project, The Red Age, is a multimedia sculptural installation that portrays an regional era of rampant growth of red algae caused by urban river pollution, containing four videos, three sculptures, a book, a soundtrack, and a mirror.
