About
I am a London based experimental communicator working with both physical and digital mediums. My making ethos is one of constantly navigating the edges of subjects I am interested in and attempting to push them even further. Transgressive, sometimes satirical, and always theory-driven; my output has spanned traditional and digital illustration, video, sound-art, online and offline ARGs, website, performance, and sculpture.
My latest project, Angelophany, is a kinetic, prophecy-delivering metal angel, and it explores Bataille’s concept of the limit-experience as a mode to briefly break structures of control. These structures, which mirror divine predestination in their ability to limit agency and predetermine communities and individuals into certain roles, could potentially be disrupted by utilising a human-made simulation of contact with the divine.
