Izzy Argent

Visual Communication (MA)

About

Izzy Argent is a multidisciplinary artist from Nottingham who has spent the past year falling in love with letterpress. Her practice revolves around centring working class narratives, celebrating fat bodies, and exploring untold and taboo stories.

Making accessible print and publications is a huge driving force for her work, leading to zine series ‘Fat Cunt Power‘ and mini books ‘I Love Being Fat‘ that untangle social conditioning in an uplifting and positive way.

She can often be found engaging in heated debates, swimming in public pools across London, or daydreaming about a better future.
