Madhumita Laddha
About
A visual storyteller from India, based in London. I am a passionate ‘people- watcher’ who loves to use drawing as a sense-making tool, to learn about and document my surroundings.
I dabble across various analogous and digital mediums to afford a play of textures & materiality in my work, often attempting to distil complex socio-political themes into humorous bite-sized nuggets. I love constructing intricate visual vignettes offering a micro and macro perspective on the given subject.
As a storyteller, I hope to bring forth narratives stemming from the diasporic communities and contemporary culture at large.
