Xingyu Huo
About
Xingyu is a visual artist born in Ningbo, China.
Her inspirations usually emerge from personal experiences or emotions, which she derives from the life situations of people in the Z-era, such as public speaking, important exams and so on. She experiments with common everyday materials such as wax, twine and clay to create stress-relieving and healing prototypes.
She is committed to promoting the connection between art healing and handmade tactile materials, organising workshops where people can spontaneously engage in the fascination of making meditative toys.
In the final presentation, she explores the sensation of “Release” with her installations, while also presenting gentle, healing, and stress-relieving care in her installations, colors, and materials.
