Yutong Li
About
She is a Chinese visual communication designer specialising in experimental video and graphic design. Her work involves the production of non-linear narratives through moving images, with an increasing emphasis on the content itself. Using video as her primary medium, she combines graphic design with 3D art, constantly exploring the balance between social pressure, technology and self.
Her new project ’Forget Everything You Perceive about Time‘ examines how individuals face the conflict between social pressures and personal values, and constructs a profound sense of self-identity through temporal narratives. By reconstructing the perception of time, it reveals how individuals face internal and external conflicts under social pressure and find their place in a complex and changing world. The project delves into the construction of self-identity through experimental video of linear and non-linear narratives.
