Yuxuan Qin is an illustrator and designer from China, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Visual Communication at the Royal College of Art in the UK. Her creative inspiration is deeply rooted in personal experiences and emotions, and her design style, known for its vibrancy and healing qualities, has garnered widespread acclaim. Yuxuan’s work is visually captivating and emotionally resonant, dedicated to exploring the unique role of softness and cuteness in art therapy.

Her graduate project, “Bear Who Cares,” features an imaginary friend who is cute, soft, and full of childlike innocence. This work is visually appealing and offers simple and effective emotional comfort through its soothing texture, aiming to help people relive the joys of childhood and showcase the positive aspects of Kidult culture. Yuxuan emphasizes the potential of Kidult culture in psychological healing, highlighting its positive side and advocating that moderate childlike behavior can bring emotional comfort and mental relaxation.

In her creations, Yuxuan not only demonstrates exceptional technical skill and creativity but also infuses each piece with profound humanistic care. Her artistic journey is marked by a persistent pursuit of beauty and healing. In the future, she plans to continue her exploration in the fields of illustration and toy design.
