About
Kelly is a designer, artist and art director based in London and China. She completed her BA Graphic Design in University of the Arts London and MA Visual Communication in Royal College of Art.
Her work seamlessly integrates physical materials with modern visual communication, creating distinctive narratives that resonate in the digital age. Kelly’s artistry is deeply influenced by her passion for music and nature. Through the diverse mediums of moving image, performance, design, and installation, she aims to connect and invite her audience to experience a new perspective to the world, offering immersive experiences that reflect her artistic vision.
“Inspired by Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, my practice with shadows has gone from being a substrate for images to a medium for expression. As one of the origins of cognitive activity, shadow representing the blurring of the line between the illusory nature of reality and our limited perception of truth. ” This series of works showcases how Kelly explores nature, herself, and the audience through the use of light and shadow. She also hopes to find more collaborative opportunities through this practice.
