Mehek Khanna is a transdisciplinary designer, or as she likes to call it, a professional problem solver. Her career is founded on the belief that design is a powerful force capable of breaking barriers and fostering transformative social change. Her approach transcends traditional boundaries to tackle ‘Complex, Wicked Challenges,’ positioning her as a Social and Design Innovator.
Mehek’s practice revolves around the intersection of research, envisioning, and innovation, integrating design and futures research methodologies. At the Royal College of Art, she has focused on designing impactful social innovations that are diverse, future-driven, and aligned with the needs of people, the planet, and purpose. Her expertise in strategic foresight and design strategies fosters ethical and inclusive innovation, research, and growth within public organisations and green corporations.
With a professional background spanning over five years in research, strategic design, service design, and user experience, Mehek has collaborated with large corporations, startups, and governments to ensure the needs of affected communities are always prioritised.
Areas of Interest: Regeneration, Circular Economies, Emerging Technologies, Planet Positive Futures, Equitable Health, and creating a simpler life for all species on the planet and beyond.
