Tongyu Du is an industrial product designer and a future designer. He focuses on the relationship between humans and technology (AI) and its development trends. Tongyu Du defines future design as anticipating future development risks based on current trends and guiding the healthy and stable long-term development of humanity through short-term future design interventions. The goal is for humans and AI to achieve a symbiotic relationship, being independent yet interdependent.
Imagine a future where AI lives alongside you as your soulmate, creating a symbiotic relationship. Ei is a highly personalised AI companion that stands on your shoulder throughout life, creating an emotional connection through shared experiences and innovative touch interactions. Gradually, due to the deep understanding of you, Ei engages in two-way communication and decision making, living and evolving with you.
