About

Yuanyuan is eager to explore different fields to discover and solve problems. With a background in industrial and product design, she enjoys using interactive technologies such as interactive installations and VR to convey and express her ideas to the public. During her MDes Design Futures studies at the Royal College of Art, Yuanyuan has increasingly collaborated with professionals from other disciplines, focusing on identifying future issues. This shift in mindset has made her designs more thoughtful and reflective.

EcoConnect Living is a visionary project designed to integrate biophilic elements and advanced smart technologies into international student apartments and their surrounding environments. It utilizes VR technology to simulate multi-sensory interactive experiences of future living scenarios, connecting indoor and outdoor natural elements while providing emotional support. The project focuses on creating sustainable, green living spaces that foster a sense of belonging for students in London.
