Ransom Sutton
About
Ransom Sutton is an African American and Afro-Caribbean designer who works with a multitude of different mediums. Ransom is a lifelong learner and holds a Master of Arts degree in product design from the Royal College of Arts as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design and an Associate of Science with a specialization in painting.
Ransom’s fascination with the designed and built world began during her childhood, where she would draw, design, and decorate dollhouses. Her unique style is characterized by vibrant colour, an exploration of her heritage, and maximalist influences through furniture.
Ransom was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and aspires to showcase her designs around the world.
