Li Yufei is a product designer with an engineering background. His guiding principle is to deeply connect with users and inspire their positive potential, which he believes is essential for solving real-world problems.
In his undergraduate years, Li Yufei honed his design skills, creating reliable and aesthetically pleasing products to enhance user experience. At the RCA, he is advancing his thinking and pioneering innovative design solutions to tackle wicked problems and practical challenges.
Currently, Yufei is developing new ideas and practices that are reflected in his work. The RCA has provided him with a fresh perspective and a meaningful pursuit.
In his latest project, Idearium, Yufei explores the intersection of gamification design and collaborative work environments. This innovative tool, developed through rigorous research and iterative design processes, aims to enhance meeting dynamics and participation. Through intuitive interaction and visible color feedback, Idearium fosters more engaging and inclusive discussions, ensuring that all voices are heard. This project not only exemplifies Yufei’s growth as a designer but also underscores his commitment to creating solutions that bridge products and human interaction. His experience at the RCA has empowered him to push boundaries and contribute meaningfully to the field of product design.
