Minmin Ke(Kim)

Fashion (MA)

About

Minmin Ke comes from Wenzhou, China. He’s always been, and still is, a fashion enthusiast who loves sewing. In the future, he might be a podcaster.

His graduation project is a record of his one-year life in London, like a personal archive. Through this project, he talks about how clothing helped him build a sense of belonging to the city. This collection has classic designs perfect for London’s changing weather and various life situations.

This graduation project is quite different from his previous design style. It reflects his mindset change since the post-pandemic era and his understanding of sustainability in the fashion industry during his MA studies.

In all his designs, he’s always been looking for his community, self-worth, identity, and culture. During his MA studies, he focused more on creating designs that are close to everyday life, making both body and soul feel more relaxed.
