About

Weini Cheng is a researcher and fashion designer specializing in user
system design. She draws inspiration from observing events around her,
starting with digital representations in graphic form and extending to
systems in fashion and other industries. Her goal is to influence and
change systems through her designs.

In contrast to traditional approaches to fashion design, she makes
extensive use of digital technology in the early stages of her designs.
This approach aims to minimize material waste by translating digital
garment concepts into physical reality.

Her innovative approach not only addresses environmental issues, but also
explores the potential of digital technology to revolutionize the design
process in all areas. By integrating the digital and physical realms, Weini
is committed to creating sustainable, impactful solutions that transcend
the fashion industry.
