Yanjie Yang
About
Yang, Yanjie is a knitwear designer with an interdisciplinary background, based in London and Shanghai. She has experience in studying in Italy. Over the year, She has experimented with a lot of materials and I have become more clear about her design style. She seeks to create 3D knitting. Her recent work explores the spontaneous dynamic relationship between the tension of materials, the body, and space. She is fascinated by how the brain controls people and how people can control the brain, and she reflects this in wearable devices. She is sponsored by SHI-KWAN and has been featured in Ouch magazine.
