About

I’m from Beijing, Beijing as a very political significant city, is  pure and contradictory . “Uniform(制服)” is a noun and also a verb.

The Chinese Type 65 uniform, covering the whole of Chinese society and also the longest serving military uniform since the founding of China but it was adapted from the French tunic jacket, which represents the westernization of China.

However, it was reinterpreted and used within the framework of Chinese society that produced a new conception of Chinese-style uniforms and clothing.

Looking at my closet,I realized that I have been influenced by the Western aesthetic for my whole life,I feel that most of the categories ,that I wear, are military uniform, tailored suits, workwear denim jackets, and couture influenced Paris fashion.

My design, my uniform, interprets me, and I want my system to be able to add some new iconic elements to the uniforms of the Chinese culture that can allow my audience to find roots in westernized clothing.
