About
Junzhe(Jett) is a design engineer and constant innovator based in Shanghai and London. Fascinated by cross-border narratives and insights, he is dedicated to merging calm technology and human touch into meaningful innovation.
His recent work involves advanced industrial design & manufacturing, smart fabrics, and circular economy.
- EMBRISENSE ™: Pioneered the development of the first manufacturing specification for magnetized fabric, transforming everyday fabric into an interactive computing platform. Created the first automated program for designing and manufacturing custom magnetized fabrics without the need for specialized engineering software.
- Raw Offcuts ™: Integrate traditional textile techniques and crafts with parametric modeling, computer vision measurements, and digital cutting to develop a regenerative pattern for recycling and processing leather offcuts.
- Winsper: Explore how wind can be used as a media to provide emotional feedback in multisensory human-computer interactions.
- Shell Creation: Collaboratively developed a new biochar material based on aquatic shells, extending the lifecycle of waste and indirectly reducing carbon emissions by creating connections and specific product-service-systems with circular economy design at various stages of the industry.
