Tanghao is a forward-thinking creative technologist who approaches technology through a human-centric lens. With a systematic perspective, he navigates the intersection of design, technology, society, and the environment, transforming complex challenges into opportunities for innovation. Tanghao is dedicated to developing interactive and intelligent systems to empower individuals and make positive social impact.
During his study in Innovation Design Engineering, he extended his design scope from industrial design to broader areas that makes grounding impact to the humanity.
- For his solo project, X.MO, he designed a behaviour informed emergency support allocation system for mass evacuation. It enhances roadside support distribution by predicting route choices via agent-based modelling.
- His group project, Pyri, develops an early wildfire detection systems for remote communities. By utilising nature-inspired mechanisms and materials, Pyri has garnered international acclaim and multiple top design awards for its innovative approach.
Driven by his deep interest in Human-Computer-Interaction(HCI), Tanghao continues to delve into the fusion of interactive and intelligent innovations, consistently reimagining how people interact with emerging technologies and benefit from their advancements.
