Service Design (MA)

About

I am Jiali Ling, born in China in 2001. I majored in service design at RCA. I am passionate about design and user experience, especially how to improve service processes and user satisfaction through design. I have a background in digital media arts and have accumulated some practical service design experience in smart technology and robotics companies.

In the past few years, I have not only learned design theories and methods, but also honed my skills through practical projects. I like to work with people from different backgrounds and professions because I believe that diverse teams can bring more innovative solutions.

In the field of service design, I think design is not just for beauty, but more importantly, it is to solve practical problems and improve user experience through design. My design philosophy is “people-oriented, problem-solving”. I focus on user research, and design service solutions that meet the actual needs of users by deeply understanding user needs and behavior patterns.

In the past graduation design project, I focused on the financial planning issues of British families. Through design thinking and tools, I redefined the family’s self-financial planning process, which significantly helped users to easily manage and cultivate financial plans.

I believe that service design is a process of continuous learning and iteration. In my future studies and work, I will continue to explore new design methods and tools, and strive to combine innovation and practicality to bring better service experience to users.
