Service Design (MA)

About

Hi! I am a curious multidisciplinary specialising in UI/UX and service design and product designer with a background in Design and over  3+ years of experience in delivering end-to-end designs for IT SaaS products. With every project, my curiosity is what drives me, to deeply understand the problem, the people and to adapt to different situations and skills. Whether it’s through user-centred UI/UX Design or innovative Service Design, I believe in using my skills to solve complex problems and improve the human experience. By emphasising empathy and critical thinking, I aim to create solutions that not only meet users’ needs but also delight and inspire them.

Previously, I worked as User Experience Designer at  Netenrich where I worked on multiple challenging projects from designing a SecOps framework to creating a self-service IT automation portal. My two years in this young, enterprise startup environment taught me how to balance business goals and engineering constraints as I unrelentingly advocated for the user.

During the past year at RCA, I collaborated with esteemed industry partners like Aegon UK, London Wildlife Trust, Coram’s Voice and worked on projects in explored diverse fields such as social impact, financial services, sustainability and AI design.

Projects at RCA:

  • Isla– Pensions A retirement planning service which leverages visualisation and gamification to get millennials to engage with their pensions and make climate conscious actions.   In collaboration with Aegon UK
  • Baiya: Baiya is an AI-powered platform which allows people to capture and create value from their everyday conversations using unlimited transcription and personalised AI models.
    Entrepreneurial Journey, Imperial College London
  • Nest– An activity hub promoting stability and agency in the turbulent lives of children in care and care leavers. It creates a space for routine, collaboration and community. Independent Research Project

The Service Design course at RCA enabled me to shift from a worm’s eye to a bird’s eye point of view and tackle problems at a systemic level. My experience here honed my skills as a storyteller, a facilitator and overall made me a holistic designer. With a deepened understanding of wicked problems, I will continue to leverage design to drive transformational positive change in the world.
