About

I’m Yanghuan, a Service Design Master’s student at the Royal College of Art.

I graduated from China University of Geosciences majoring in Industrial Design, and my science background enables me to look at problems more rationally.

As a service and product designer, I believe that design should fully satisfy users’ needs and achieve the main purpose. However, many products and systems are still far away from real users, which will hinder their further dissemination and value fulfilment. In the context of a data-driven world, service design is the vehicle that connects users to new products, while also providing insight into how value is defined, developed and embedded in service delivery.
