Service Design (MA)

About

I am Yanwen, a service designer with a multidisciplinary background in the art & fashion industry.

My career journey began in the vibrant realm of fashion, where I honed my design, aesthetics, and consumer insights skills. This experience has provided me with a unique perspective on the importance of user-centered design and the power of storytelling through visual and experiential means, which made me interested in service design.

My fascination with the art industry drives my continuous exploration of systemic issues and emerging trends. From my former working experience in the art museum, I started to focus on challenges such as accessibility, sustainability, and inclusivity within the art world. I believe in the power of creativity and strategic thinking to not only improve operational efficiencies but also to create more equitable and engaging experiences for all stakeholders. By leveraging design thinking methodologies, I aim to develop solutions that bridge gaps and foster a more vibrant, inclusive art community.

I look forward to collaborating with like-minded professionals to push the boundaries of what service design can achieve and to create meaningful, impactful experiences for diverse audiences.
