About

My practice pushes the traditional aspects and processes of screen printing. Within it I explore themes of female agency, nature, mythologies, storytelling and craft. I frequently play on the repeated details of printed textiles to portray my narratives in a highly theatrical way. Bringing print and storytelling to the forefront of my textile work.

My previous background has been working in costume departments in Film and TV where the depiction of character and storytelling has been essential. I have brought those principles into my personal work, often re-imagining stories and characters through a feminist lens to create a world in which the viewer may step into. The stories I want I tell intersect with the history of textiles and its impact on female agency within the working world.
