Shenlu Liu
About
I’m Shenlu Liu from textiles. I’m a Knitwear designer. I like to get inspiration from everyday life. The audience is mostly women’s wear. I like to try different combinations of knitting techniques and explore the beauty of changing techniques. At the same time, I also pay attention to the color matching, according to different themes change different colors.
In this project I was inspired by the textiles that were scratched by my cat dian dian. There are holes in these textiles. My grandma would fix these holes. I thought it was interesting, so I tried to fix it.
In the process of mending, I found that this broken hole was just like the broken heart that I missed dian dian after I left home to study in the UK, and the repair could alleviate my loneliness and emptiness and heal my body and mind.
