Introduction

The Arts & Humanities MFA is a new innovative degree programme at the RCA. Core to its curriculum are the Live Collaborative Partnerships; our students this year worked directly with external partners to realise public projects, events, exhibitions and artworks. These partnerships place the students in professional environments to test, challenge and develop new practices and pedagogies in dialogue with specific publics and contexts. Together, we promote thinking and making, and encourage research-led practice by connecting the students to research faculty through their electives. We pair this with a commitment to dynamic and challenging dialogue to collectively examine the conditions and positions of the arts and humanities today.
