Design Futures (MDes)
Introduction
In an era of turbulence for people and the planet, how we navigate our future is more critical than ever. In the MDes Design Futures, students work across disciplines and beyond to envision preferable futures through design-led interventions grounded in research and understanding of complex systems. Students define future scenarios and engage communities in proposals that emphasise ethical approaches and resilience. RCA2024 presents the outcomes of the first year of the programme, showcasing strategies for innovation and entrepreneurship to address environmental and societal challenges.
